Double Chocolate Banana Muffins

August 11, 2014

Last night, Sabrina and I made these yummy double chocolate banana muffins. They were quick, easy, and great with a glass of milk and a romantic comedy. This recipe was adapted from Inside BruCrew Life's version.

To make these muffins, you will need:

2 medium bananas, mashed
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup greek yogurt
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp light brown sugar
1/3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chocolate chips (semisweet or dark)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all of the dry ingredients in a large bowl, then slowly add the wet and stir with by hand or with a mixer. Once mixed together, scoop into muffin tin with 1/4 cup scoops. Pop into the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

Once cooled, serve and enjoy!

What is your favorite chocolate treat?
If you make these muffins, let me know how you like them!
