Christmas in DC

Tonight my roomie Sabrina and I went to the Walk of Lights at Meadowlark Botanical Garden! It was such a stunning show of both holiday themed and garden themed. Though it was so cold, it was fun to walk around, listen to the Christmas music, and take photos. We also stopped by the WWII Memorial because they had a pretty setup too. It's been a super busy couple of weeks, but tomorrow we're going to ICE! at National Harbor, and we'll hopefully go to see the National Christmas Tree sometime this week. Only a few more days til Christmas, it's crazy!

What are your holiday plans?
Have you been to any holiday events?

  1. Those lights are simply wonderful! I love Christmas light displays like that because they're kind of entrancing and magical - as if you're walking through the Christmas door in "The Nightmare Before Christmas".

My boyfriend and I went to my Aunt's Annual Holiday Cookie Exchange last night and had an absolute blast, and we're planning on going light-watching on Christmas Eve ourselves. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week and a very Merry Christmas! :)

  2. How gorgeous! I went to Smithsonian ZooLights last year which I loved, but this is stunning, too. I may have to find a buddy to go with me...

  4. Beautiful!! Living in VA, every year I say we'll go to DC and check out the Christmas stuff and then we never end up doing it. Ahhh. Goal for 2015. :)

    Merry Christmas!
