New In - Beauty, Homewares, and Etc.

This month I've been all about nights in with some fuzzy socks, a warm blanket, and a calming-scented candle. I just finished reading The Handmaid's Tale, and have begun to watch it on Hulu this week, which is inspiring me to read other book-to-TV like Big Little Lies, and of course Game of Thrones (still on season 1 but I'll come around soon!) I also got wind of this awesome new cookbook from Cherry Bombe, an awesome women's magazine. It's full of awesome recipes that are healthy, easy, and great for a girl's night in!
I also finally got my hands on a Diptyque candle in Roses, but of course I swung for the mini version - partly because I'm afraid of committing to a big candle, and partly because I'm afraid of committing to the full sized price tag.
I also  picked up some things from The Ordinary, a skincare brand that brings things back to basics with pure ingredients. I got ahold of some hyaluronic acid, some plant squalene, and an AHA exfoliating solution.
I also grabbed a foundation from The Ordinary since I'd heard such great things from one of my favorite YouTubers, The Anna Edit. I opted for the serum foundation, which feels so light on the skin and gives a hydrating glow. The best thing may be the price tag, I got this foundation for less than $7!
Last but not least, I've been using these Kosta Boda lipstick figures as bookends for my shelf, and I love them so much. Wouldn't be my room without a bit of lipstick!
What have you been loving lately?
