Fall 2018 Mood Board

My goal for Fall 2018 is to embrace slow living. Really spend time ruminating with what the concepts of hygge, luxury, and comfort mean to me. Autumn is a season of abundance, of letting go and preparing for new beginnings. Making the choices that feel right, spending time with family and friends, breaking bread with loved ones. That's why for the beginning of this season I created the moodboard above, and a focal point of that a print from Hotel Magique - Tout Est Magique - a French phrase meaning "everything is magic," and that is a cornerstone of my mindset this Fall - to see the magic in everything and treat it as such, to celebrate the magic in the mundane.

I also want to bring a little sparkle to the mundane. Dress well, drink prosecco with my closest gal pals, treat myself to a massage every now and then, introduce comfy blankets and candles when the weather starts to change, cook and eat well, douse my room in lavender essential oil, and take time to be present and really enjoy it all.
